Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara (born in Romania) is a Romanian actor and TV host. She's best known as the main character in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. Alexandra Maria Lara was the sole son of Romanian film actor Valentin Platareanu. At the age of 16 and a leading role in several television dramas. Her critically-acclaimed performance in the made-for-television film Der Tunnel paved way for many other noteworthy roles, including Adolf Hitler's secretary Traudl Junge, in the critically and commercially successful Oscar nominated war-time drama film Downfall. The Reader as well as Der Baader Meinhof Komplex were also Oscar-nominated. In the past, Alexandra has worked in several noteworthy national and international projects. This includes the British biographical feature Control Greek dramatic film The Dust of Time French historical Miniseries Napoleon as well as other. She was also part of both the Cannes Film Festival jury and Transylvania International Film Festival.
