Michael Keaton was an American actor, producer and director best known as the star of Birdman. He's a versatile actor who has the ability to perform both comic as well as dramatic characters. In his career, he has played a number of romantic roles, and has also was a part of action-thrillers. As a teenager, he began to develop an interest in both acting and performing. As an aspiring youngster, he tried stand-up comedy. His comedy career was not successful, though it was the beginning of the path to a career in acting. To be successful as a comic and performer, he was hired working as a cameraman for the local cable TV station. When he was working in the station when he realized the way he wanted to work was on camera. The TV role was agreed to and he was a regular on various episodes Mister Rogers Neighborhood. An actor with natural talent, he became popular quickly on television. He began an acting career in film with huge hopes and achieved a great deal of recognition through his comedic characters. The accolades grew as he played Batman's own character from Tim Burton's Batman. Over time his acting ability developed and he was able exploring the possibility of directing and production. He was awarded numerous nominations and awards for his performance in the 2014 film Birdman.
