Bea started her professional career in stand-up comedy in 2011, following small parts that she acted on Irish and British television dramas from 2009. The comedian began to appear frequently on sketch comedy shows and sitcoms from 2012. In the wake of her success at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards, she was invited to appear on a number of panel shows. She's been part of 8 Out of 10 Cats since 2016, and she's an extremely popular contestant on the show's spinoff 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. She was born to Brian O'Sullivan and Helen O'Sullivan and has a sister named Sinead. In 2012, she became the second woman ever to win the So You Think You Are Funny award. The surname she uses is Bea to honor her late father. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan is an Kildare woman who was born in Kildare. Her birth date was the 16th of March, 1984. Her father Brian was a veterinarian who worked with horses that committed suicide aged three. However, she did not learn the cause of her death until thirteen years later. In 2017, she composed an essay for The Guardian about the suicide of her father's family and took on the stage name Bea in tribute. Bea's mother Helen She is an instructor for jockeys and a former professional jockey was responsible for raising her as well as Sinead. Their parents were both obsessed with horses and racing. Bea started her journey as a tour guide at the Irish National Stud. However, she realized early on that the racing industry wasn't for her.
