Amal Clooney
Amal Clooney was Amal A. Alamuddin, a Lebanese British legal practitioner and human rights advocate. She graduated from Oxford University School of Law and New York University School of Law. The length of her professional career has received international praise for her accomplishments in international law and the field in human rights. Her prominent clients included national states such as Armenia who were fighting for recognition of the Armenian Genocide in Turkey. Amal Clooney was married to American actor George Clooney and became a famous name in popular media in the year 2014. Years before this though she was already well-known and respected in legal circles because she consistently represented clients with skill and great success. The job she has is to represent multinational corporations in court proceedings and negotiations about government regulation, and also human rights or social justice. From 2015 onwards, Doughty Street Chambers is situated in London, and she is barrister.
